FESTIVALS, COMPETITIONS, AND OTHER EVENTS. If your teacher has you participate in other activities in addition to your private lessons, there may be an extra fee for that (which may or may not be paid directly to your teacher).

LESSON CALENDAR

Each session is 12 lessons. It is recommended that students attend 1 lesson per week. If that is not possible, other arrangements will be agreed upon by the teacher and student/parent/guardian.
SUMMER LESSONS. If the student decides to not take lessons in the summer, the student will be required to re-enroll in the fall.
HOLIDAYS AND VACATION. The Creative Studio observes all federal and Christian holidays. On these holidays, no lessons will be held.

PRACTICE
It is recommended that students dedicate 90-150 minutes each week, between lessons, practicing and reviewing material to ensure growth. If this cannot be accomplished, please consider taking lessons at a better time.

OPEN LESSONS

Lessons are open to parents who would like to stay and see what’s happening! In fact, I would encourage this at the very least for the first 4 lessons. If your student is 12 or younger, only half hour lessons are offered to that age group, and parents are asked to stay for the duration of the lesson. I do ask that if you are transporting your child that you pick them up at the scheduled end time for the lesson if you are unable to stay. We don’t want a situation where a student is dropped off for a lesson and not picked up until several hours later.

RESCHEDULING LESSONS
Students/Parents/Guardians have the option to reschedule a lesson if you know at least 48 hours in advance that you will be unable to attend at the normally scheduled time. If you must reschedule three consecutive lessons, a new lesson schedule will be established.

MISSED LESSONS (EMERGENCIES)
If you miss a lesson due to an emergency, makeup lessons are offered as long as you contact the teacher at least 48 hours before you wish to schedule the make-up lesson. If you miss three consecutive lessons, a new lesson schedule will be established. Missed lessons are not refunded. If on a payment plan, missed lessons will be billed.

TERMINATING LESSONS
Please give a minimum 30-day written notice. Once you submit a written termination notice, you are responsible for paying for and attending your lessons after that notice is submitted until the termination date.

I agree and commit to the lesson schedule outlined above and understand the expectations and payment plan. I understand that I will only be able to reschedule three consecutive lessons. I understand that if I miss/reschedule more than three consecutive lessons, a new lesson schedule will be established, or I will need to submit a termination notice, effective two weeks from receipt. If the teacher, is unable to attend a lesson, she will call 48 hours in advance and reschedule at a time that is agreeable to both of us. If the teacher, misses/reschedules more than three consecutive lessons, I can submit a termination notice, effective immediately, if desired.
